At Jazzdance Alive! dancers follow three weeks, three lessons a day at Rick Odums (www.centre-rick-odums.com) in Paris. JA! is made possible in part by the European fund Erasmus+. Jazzdance Alive! took place twice, in 2012 and in 2014. Below is a description of the project.
For whom?
This internship is accessible for Dutch, Vocational level graduated dancers and choreographers. Selection takes place through auditions.
When?
The project itself takes place in October. Additionally, there are preparatory sessions and an evaluation session.
What?
First two weeks: each day Classical, Modern and Jazz lessons.
Third week: Follow Master classes of famous teachers at the International Forum du Danse Jazz.
Accomodation?
You will be staying at an apartment hotel in Paris.
Costs?
The travel and accommodation costs are taken care of by the Foundation, with help of the European subsidy.
Individual financial contribution?
€ 400,00 per person for three weeks.
