The preliminary dance school has a supportive character. But also stimulates the student's own creativity. It is expected of the student to develop his or her own style and dance personality.

In the case a student's goal is to apply for attending the Art & Entertainment study at the ROCvA, ANA will enhance the chances for success at the admittal procedure. There will be a special audition day for ANA students. The required level for the Art & Entertainment Dance study is a VMBO-T degree.

ANA is partly made possible by the Douma-Alta Foundation and is affiliated to the Art & Entertainment College of the ROC of Amsterdam (www.artentertainmentcollege.nl).
